We are building the intelligence layer for media agencies — combining AI-powered triage with human expertise to verify content at scale. Born from the news-polygraph research project, we turn cutting-edge research into practical tools for newsrooms, fact-checkers, and content teams.

Built on 10+ years of research
Our technology originated in news-polygraph, a BMBF-funded research collaboration with leading media and research institutions. Today, we commercialize those insights for media agencies worldwide.

From research project to production platform — here is what we have built so far.

Misinformation spreads faster than facts. Media agencies and newsrooms face an impossible volume of content to verify — every day, every hour, every breaking story. We believe the answer is not AI alone, nor humans alone, but a seamless partnership between the two. Our platform uses AI to triage, prioritize, and pre-analyze content, then routes the right tasks to the right human experts at the right time. The result: faster, more accurate verification workflows that scale with your content volume without compromising on quality.
Crowdee started as news-polygraph, a BMBF-funded research project bringing together Deutsche Welle, RBB, DFKI, Fraunhofer IDMT, and other leading institutions to tackle automated fact-checking. Over five years of research, we developed AI pipelines for claim detection, evidence retrieval, stance classification, and credibility scoring — all validated by real journalists and fact-checkers. Today, as Crowdee, we commercialize those insights into a platform designed for media agencies: flexible, API-first, and ready to integrate into your existing content workflows. The same research-backed rigor, built for production scale.
